Fun day is an opportunity for students to revise their pieces, play together and have some fun. It is an opportunity for Suzuki students, parents and teachers to mix in a relaxed environment.
Revision and repetition are the cornerstones to success in getting the most out of the Suzuki Method of learning an instrument, and children “catch” learning from each other.
This Fun day morning event is an opportunity for students to join a group class in a specific book, and have a combined play in, with some exciting activities planned during the morning tea break.
Enrolment suggestions below:
This event is targeting revision of known pieces.
Your child will get the most out of this day if you enrol them in the right group.
Violins will be split into books for the group classes.
Book 1 will be split into two classes
- Twinkle – Go Tell Aunt Rhody - V1A
- O Come Little Children - Gossec Gavotte - V1B
Book 2 - V2
Book 3 - V3
Cellos will be split into groups once the enrolments are in and we see how many we have in each group.
Please note: If your child has just completed a book or is just learning one of the first few pieces of a new book, we recommend enrolling them in the previous book to get the best out of this revision day.
If your child is past book 3, they are welcome to attend revise book 3 and still enjoy the camaraderie of the day.
